Our visit in 2010 to Georgia with just five of the choir members from Thornlie Primary School.
Sedeko
Thornlie Primary School, Wishaw, Scotland. Helping to develop a Scottish-Georgian children’s choir, linking the two small corners of Europe together, Scotland and Georgia, and twinning with Temi alternative orphanage community in Kakheti, Georgia.

P5 Sailing
In August and September 2010 P5 had the opportunity to have 5 weeks of sailing in Strathclyde Park. It was enjoyed by all and all children achieved level 1 in their sailing.
The Huge Walking Bus
In June 2010 Thornlie Primary School held a Huge Walking Bus to highlight the need to slow down and drive with care around the school area. Remember '20 is Plenty'.
P7/6 Rights of the Child Video
Primary 7/6 have made an information video about the work they have done on the Rights of the Child.
The Weeping Woman
THis is another entry for the CANVAS art gallery, this piece is based on Picasso's Weeping Woman
Poppy Art
We have been working on paintings inspired by Monet's Poppy field. This video shows a pupil talking about her work. The Picture and video will be shown in the CANVAS online gallery.
UN Rights of the Child Animation
Our after school animation club created this short film about some of the UN Rights of the Child.
P6-5 supra
Primary 6-5 were learning about Georgian social customs and decided to make a documentary about the Georgian Supra.
P5-4 Easter Assembly
Primary 5/4 made a movie about Easter traditions and superstitions for our assembly.
