Arrival in Beijing

The whole group arrived safely in Beijing this afternoon and we had mostly enjoyed the flight. One colleague was ill on the flight to Dubai and was lucky to be allowed to take the flight to Beijing. Our arrival was spoiled by the time it took to clear immigration. It was 2 hours after we landed and by the time we went to the carousel for the luggage, the flight details had been removed.

We have all had the chance to recover, shower and see some of the sights near to the hotel. A buffet dinner in the hotel was a little disappointing.

Still we are here and after a night's sleep we will be ready for the visit to the Hanban and Tianjin.
