·Beijing (1 – 2 days) including a visit to Hanban Headquarters
·Tianjin ( 3 – 4 days) including presentation about all the Confucius Classroom Hubs to the Tianjin Education Commission, visit to link schools, meetings with headteachers and teachers to introduce the Hub and plan joint activities and visits to classrooms to meet pupils.

The Ayrshire Confucius Hub will be represented, on the study visit to Beijing and Tianjin from 7-13
March 2010, by Elaine Crawford, Stirling Mackie, Gordon Bone, and Margaret Harper.
The Ayrshire Confucius Hub serves 3 Authorities, East Ayrshire, North Ayrshire and South Ayrshire.
The work of the Aysrhire Hub is co-ordinated through meetings between staff delivering courses,
through meetings between Quality Improvement Officers from each of the Authorities
and by collaborative workshops.

North East Confucius Classroom Hub is represented by

David MacDonald, Head Teacher, Arbroath Academy, Angus
Rosaleen Rentoul, Principal offcier (Learning Resources), Aberdeen City Council.
The North east Confucius Classroom Huib covers four local authorities, Aberdeen City, Aberdeenshire, Angus and Moray Councils. A Steering Group leads the strategy for the Hub.
