New Monkland Primary hosted a Brass Recital, inviting various local schools to showcase their talent.

P3 wrote their mini beast kennings and recorded them for everyone to see.
Speech and Drama 2009
New Monkland participated and did extremely well in the annual Speech and Drama Festival.
New Lanark Heritage Centre
Primary 4/5 enjoyed a vist to New Lanark Heritage Centre. The children made a movie using the photos taken on the trip.
Alison Cowan Art Work
Primary 4-7 worked with Alison Cowan to create these wonderful art pieces. They studied the famous Scottish artist, George Birrell.
