Glow Busters Allanton
A quick movie made on my iPhone as the Allanton Glow busters were working. A very hardworking bunch who picked up some of the trickier things about glow very quickly.
Kilsyth Primary - GarageBand
I spent yesterday afternoon with Primary 7 in Kilsyth Primary School. I had a great time and the pupils picked up creating music with GarageBand very quickly indeed. They all added their music to the NLC ICT for Pupils -GarageBand Glow Group, If you are in NLC and have a glow login you should have a listen.
Glencairn Animation
I had a great time yesterday afternoon working with the primary sevens at Glencairn Primary. The children had already prepared some great characters and backgrounds. They picked up animation very quickly.

Simplifying Logging into glow
At TeachMeet SLF 2010 I saw Sean Farrell - logging into glow where Sean showed an idea for a simplified login to glow for younger pupils. More recently I saw Automating the Intial Login Process a blog post and associated screencast by Alex Duff an Education Manager at LTS. This helped me with the idea shown in this screencast: an application that helps pupils login for the first time changing their password and subsequently logging on.
Banton Podcast Demo
This afternoon I am at Banton Primary we made a quick podcast to demo the podcast server.
St Ignatius Animation
Last week Mrs. McCabe and I visited Primary 6-7 at St Ignatius to introduce animation. The pupils worked really well creating 100s of frames in a very short time. Now they know how to animate they are planning some stories to animate when we go back next week.
iPod Maths Maps
Based on Tom Barrett's Maths Maps, I have created a couple of Maths Maps that work on ter IPod Touch at the NLC iPod Playground. This is a Movie of the webpage on a touch.
