Mac OS X server provides an easy to use method of publishing a podcast.
Before you podcast you need a blog set up on the server and some media to add to it.
- Got to your blog.
- Click the + button at the top of the right hand column on the blog.
- Fill in the Username and password. Do not Click Remember me unless you are the only person to use the computer.
- Give your podcast a title.
- Check the Add podcast media to this entry box.
Add a Title
Click Choose File and select your media file
And then click Create.
Your Media will be uploaded an a new blog entry created. You can then write a description for your entry.
Be careful if you press any key this will replace not only the placeholder text but the player.
You need to select just the text and delete it. If you do remove the player you can Undo, Apple Z, to get it back.
Click Save when you have finished.
You can add tags at the top of the entry and reedit the entry later by clicking the pencil at the top of the right hand column.
