Once again, The pupils and Staff of Coatbridge High staged an
outstanding Burns Supper event for Parents, Staff and pupils in the
Assembly Hall on the evening of Thursday 28th January, 2010. This
annual event featured traditional poems and songs from the famous poet.
Staff and pupils put on a great night featuring some of his well known
works such as, the Selkirk Grace, a toast to both the Lassies and
Ladies, To A Mouse and of course the Address To The Haggis (which was
delicious!) An ensemble choir of children from our surrounding primary
schools performed some traditional Scottish songs. Congratulations to
all who performed and helped to create a wonderful evening of
entertainment.
